About

MANDELA – Multilateralism through Negotiation and Cultural Diplomacy Education in the Levant and Africa is an innovative Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project that aims to strengthen higher education institutions (HEIs) through inclusive, values-based, and dialogue-oriented education.

Inspired by the legacy and values of Nelson Mandela, the project promotes human dignity, social justice, democracy, and intercultural understanding. MANDELA brings together universities and expert organizations from Israel, Ghana, Ethiopia, and Europe to equip academic staff and students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to address conflict, inequality, and social fragmentation in diverse societies.

Through curriculum innovation, faculty professional development, and international collaboration, MANDELA contributes to building more resilient, inclusive, and socially engaged higher education systems.
